Liability Waiver: ApiTherapy & Forest Therapy
Please read carefully before participating. This site contains active apiaries with live honeybee colonies and natural woodland environments. While our experiences are designed to be safe, calming, and enjoyable, they take place in natural working environments where certain risks are inherent.
By participating in any ApiTherapy (Bee Bed) or Forest Therapy experience at DibPine Sancturay, you acknowledge, accept, and agree to the following:
1. Presence of Bees (ApiTherapy Sessions)
I understand that Bee Bed Therapy takes place near active honeybee hives. While bee stings are uncommon, I acknowledge that there is always a possibility of being stung when entering, exiting, or resting near an apiary environment.
2. Natural Environment (All Sessions)
I understand that DibPine Sancturay is in a natural outdoor setting. This may include:
- Uneven ground, pathways, or terrain
- Steps, roots, or natural obstacles
- Exposure to weather, insects, and wildlife
I accept full responsibility for any slips, trips, falls, or other incidents that may occur during my visit.
3. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge and accept that I am participating in these wellness experiences entirely at my own risk. I understand that natural environments cannot be made completely risk-free.
4. Health & Medical Responsibility
I confirm that I am solely responsible for my own health and wellbeing. I confirm that:
- I don’t have any medical condition that makes participation unsafe
- I do not have any allergy (including but not limited to bee venom allergy) or sensitivity that would put me at risk
- I have taken all necessary precautions and consulted with a healthcare provider if appropriate prior to attending
5. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree that DibPine Sancturay, its owners, operators, staff, guides, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, allergic reaction, sting, loss, damage, or incident that may occur during or after my participation in any experience.
6. Insurance
I understand that personal accident, medical, or health insurance is my own responsibility. DibPine Sancturay does not provide personal coverage for participants.
7. Waiver of Claims
I agree not to pursue any claim, legal action, or compensation against DibPine Sancturay, its owners, or staff in relation to my participation in these experiences.
8. Governing Law
This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario.
